The U.S. Visa process takes a long time — before you pay any fees, make sure you have accomplished all of the prior steps in the Visa process, such as getting your petition approved and choosing an agent for the process (the agent could be you, a family member, a lawyer, or someone else). If you are ready to pay your U.S. Visa fees (which are the Visa Application Processing Fee and the Affidavit of Support Fee), you have two options for payment:
- Online: Pay at The Immigration Visa Invoice Payment Center at https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx.
- By Mail: Paying your fees by mail may make the Visa process take longer. If you can’t pay online for some reason, review your invoice documents to find out how much you have to pay for the Visa Application Processing Fee and the Affidavit of Support Fee. Then, send those invoice documents along with the correct amount of money via money order or cashier’s check to the following address: NVC Fee Processing Center, P.O. Box 790136, St. Louis, MO 63179-0136. Important: Put your National Visa Center (NVC) case number on the memo line of the money order or cashier’s check. Do NOT pay with a personal check, it will not be accepted!
